This event is internal; an inspection and experiment with my own consciousness; it is an effort of mental focus on the present moment and its observation. Using a point (brush trace) as a quantum, I will create a linear record of time in 12 hours according to the fundamental definition of time:
Time is a continuous quantity, an a priori feature of the world, not defined by anything. A certain, usually periodic sequence of events is used as a basis for measurement, which is considered to be a reference point for a certain period, that occurs in an apparently irreversible succession from the past, through the present, and into the future. *
The flexibility of time is necessary to prevent it from becoming a “prison”. I lock myself in a rigid framework for half a day in order to observe the texture of time and the changes in my internal landscape. This experiment will be performed in silence, with a vector of recording from left to right.
